Value Spring College Academic Structure:
Our curriculum is all encompassing. It is designed in line with the educational policies of both the Lagos State government and the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is blended to conform with the British, Montessori and Nigeria curriculums so as to enable the school cover all the areas of learning.
The school’s academic calendar is classified into three per session, beginning from September to July. There is a special annual summer program that feature skills acquisition, excursions and practical teachings.
One day per term is dedicated for parents to assess their children’s academic progress and discuss their challenges with their respective teachers. This is known as Open Day. A periodic PTA meeting is equally inculcated into the academic calendar.
The school is fully approved by ministry of education and the relevant examination bodies such as the West African Examination Council, The National
Examination Council Etc. Special classes are held for students who wish to study abroad to enable them pass the relevant examinations.
In order to complement the class room learning, the school organizes some co- curricular activities for the students such as; the Students Representative Council, The school’s sports team, skills acquisition, project work, quiz competitions, excursions and school club activities ( Jets club, drama/dance club, homemakers club, press club, literary and debating club, chess club, swimming club etc. )
